El tiempo está frío y nublado. Esta foto de Florida me ayuda a sentirme mejor. In this cloudy/cold weather it helps me to remember about Florida when I went in the summer. How do you make yourself feel better sometimes?

Me gusta la playa. Night walks on the beach is the best way for me to destress. There is something about hearing the ocean and walking at night. It makes me so happy and I would do it everyday if I could.

En el río Eno pude ver muchas rocas. I was able to have a great time participating on a Sunday guided hike at the Eno River in Wake county. I had a great time. It helps me relax and enjoy outdoor. How do you relax?

A mi hija le gusta bailar. Fuimos a unas clases a Winston Salem en el fin de semana de Martin Luther King. Mientras ella bailaba yo fui a caminar. Vi esto en mi caminata y tome una foto. These are pictures of my daughter and one of her dancing teachers at Winston Salem. Also a picture of something I saw when I went hiking. 

 

 Hello my name is Latisha Rivera! I am so excited to get to know y'all better. My goals this year is are to first and foremost read more. Reading used to be my favorite activity until I got busier. I became so busy I did not have time to relax and read. That is why this year I am making reading a priority. Secondly I would really like to go to Disney World again. I haven't been in a couple of years and I miss it so much. My friend and I actually started planning a trip yesterday. It is going to be so fun. Thirdly I want to start planning trips around the world. I always hear stories about people studying abroad and I want to travel the world also. My first stop will be South America. My RA from freshman year has been there for over a year and it looks amazing. I can't wait to go.

This is a letter written by child that my family and I sponsor in Mexico. My parents have visited them and everybody is so happy to see each other. One day I'll meet him face to face. He likes basketball and he's not a A student so I always remind him how important school is :) but he passes with high grades. One of my goals this year is to keep supporting him.
